In the world of early childhood educator we have been seen as the babysitting club when in reality we are like the 1st responders of early childhood.

How did we get such a big responsibility and have not comminated the with our community about our worth in society.

Social justice is an important mission of The Learning Project when it was founded, and it is very community-oriented.

An inspirational essay by Charles Bruner, he discusses the low status and low compensation of educators as a social justice issue. I felt like a fire begin to rise in me because I was one of those educators who felt unseen and heard by the community that I loved and had decided my life to.

Children, families, and communities cannot thrive when educators struggle mentally, physically and is left in the dark about the darkest that govern the very center of our communities.

These inequities are systemic and result from policies and practices that have been passed down from generation to generation.

In society access for educators and families is a broken surface communities need to fix through respect and valuing people in society.

How to change the narrative of Early Childhood Education?
1st educators must learn about anti-bias education through curriculum and pedagogy which will be given early childhood educators love of social justice.

2nd we must teach educators that activism does not require protesting. Activism for early childhood educator is embedded in see, do and act.

Last partner with an organization that embraces the vision of a society in which all children, families and the community thrive.

Children and families are harmed by systems that inequitably distribute power, resources, and privilege to one group over another, such as white supremacy, patriarchy, heteronormativity, ableism, settler colonialism, and gender binary. Therefore, we have an ethical obligation to dismantle these systems.

Distance learning allows students to balance their other commitments more effectively, at least in cases they are adult learners, commuters, and part-time students. They don’t believe that they sacrifice a quality education for the convenience of utilizing distance learning.

What is Online Learning?

In online learning, students attend classes on the Internet and involve in real interactions with teachers and students at the other end. Students can attend the curriculum at their own pace and easily access the class from anywhere.

Online Learning is a reality and gradually becoming part of formal education. This educational model appeals especially to anyone who can’t attend a physical faculty or school. Online Learning also hops the national boundaries and is offered for dispersed college students that can have a wider choice of online programs.

How does online learning work? Learning management systems (LMS) provide an accessible exchange of information between professors and students. Τhis way, students can view learning material at their leisure or even attend scheduled conferences or lectures.

Concerning test-taking, learners can submit course assignments through the LMS, participate in a discussion, or submit other tasks. Lastly, professors may provide feedback to the student through comments or emails when using this LMS.
